Privacy Policy
This policy says what Copycat Go learns about you, why, who else receives it, and what you can ask us to do with it. Copycat Go is a product of Connect and Conquer LLC, 11567 W Edna St, Boise, ID 83713 ("we", "us").
1. In short
- Looking around Copycat Go needs no account, and the public pages set no cookie of ours.
- We collect what we need to sell you a Business Kitt, set up your business and bill your Purrks, and no more.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show advertising.
2. What we collect, and why
When you buy. Your name and email address, what you bought, what you paid and when. We need these to take the payment, send your receipt, and keep your account. Your card is entered on a form that Stripe provides: we never see or store the full card number.
To set up your business. The web address you choose and, where a mailbox is made for the business, a phone number for recovering it. We use these to set up the business you paid for.
When you sign in. You sign in with a Purr ID account. If you do not have one when you buy, one is made for you with the name and email address you gave at checkout, and the link in your receipt email lets you choose its password. Purr ID tells us an identifier for your account, your name, your email address and the groups your account belongs to. We do not receive your password.
If you apply to become a Purrfessional. What you put on the form: your name, email address, phone number if you give one, your business, where it is, and your answers. We use them to decide on your application and to reply.
If you use the Record button. A box you can type several lines into also has a Record button. If you press it, your recording is sent to OpenAI to be turned into text, the text is put in the box for you to read before you send anything, and we do not keep the recording.
If you came from someone's link. If the address you arrived by named a person who referred you, we keep that code with your purchase so they can be credited.
What every website receives. Your IP address and browser details reach our servers and Cloudflare with each request. We use the IP address to limit how often a form can be sent and to keep the site secure.
Emails we send. We keep a record of each email we send you: the address, the subject and when. Not the body.
3. Cookies
- The public pages of Copycat Go set no cookie of ours.
- Checkout, your account, the Purrfessional portal and the staff pages use one cookie, which keeps you signed in and keeps your purchase with your browser. It is necessary for those pages to work.
- Cloudflare, which protects the site, and Stripe, on the page where you pay, may set their own cookies for security and to prevent fraud.
- We use no advertising cookies and no analytics that follow you across sites.
Pages load their lettering from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page loads.
4. Who else receives your information
We share it only with those who need it to do what you asked:
- Stripe, to take payments and prevent fraud.
- The Purrfessional whose Business Kitt or Purrk you buy. Where a payment is taken on the Purrfessional's own Stripe account, they may receive your name, your email address and what you bought.
- Those who run our systems for us: DigitalOcean (servers and database), Cloudflare (security and delivery), Amazon Web Services (sending email), OpenAI (turning a recording into text, only if you press Record) and Purr ID, which is our own sign-in service.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising.
5. How long we keep it
- Purchases, receipts and records of who was paid are business records. We keep them for as long as the law and our accounts require.
- An application to become a Purrfessional is kept while it is being decided and afterwards as a record of the decision.
- Your account is kept for as long as you are a Client. Ask us and we will close it; section 7 says how.
- Recordings made with the Record button are not kept.
6. Keeping it safe
Connections to Copycat Go are encrypted. Card details are held by Stripe, not by us. Access to Client records is limited to the staff who need it, and each change staff make is recorded. No system is perfectly secure; if something happens that puts your information at risk, we will tell you.
7. What you can ask us to do
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We will do so unless we must keep it, for example a record of a payment. Use the Support page in your account, or write to Connect and Conquer LLC, 11567 W Edna St, Boise, ID 83713. We may need to confirm who you are first.
Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights. We honor them.
8. Children
Copycat Go is for adults starting a business. It is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
The date at the top says when this policy last changed. If a change affects how we use information we already hold about you, we email Clients before it takes effect.
